Fire Doors have a multitude of components that must adhere to government regulations, these include the door frame, ironmongery (handles & hinges etc), window glass, intumescent strips and door closers.
NOTE - It is the responsibility of the Building Managers / owners to ensure that Fire Doors adhere to Government Safety Legislation. FIRE DOORS MUST BE INSPECTED EVERY SIX MONTHS (Riser Doors etc. require only annual inspections) to ensure that they are compliant. Your buildings’ Insurance Policy will most likely have this as a condition of cover.
